US clean tech company 3fficient and Primo Wind have partnered to deliver Primo’s EnergiPlant in North America.
3fficient will be the exclusive distributor of Primo’s high energy producing innovations. Primo Wind builds patented micro wind and hybrid wind/solar products that produce usable power in common wind speeds.
Its EnergiPlant is a freestanding nanogrid combining wind, solar and batteries to provide up to six USB charging ports and LED lighting. In addition, there is an option for security cameras and wi-fi. The design includes three benches with nine sides available for advertising space.
“The team at Primo has worked hard to develop an aesthetically pleasing product with the features that cities and universities really need, and we are very excited to partner with 3fficient to bring the EnergiPlant to the market,” said Ned McMahon CEO, Primo Wind.
Primo said its EnergiPlant’s have been sold to cities and universities along the west coast. The EnergiPlant has also been featured at events such as Earth Day at the Port of San Diego, the Maker’s Faire at Balboa Park and the Iron Mike Lifeguard competition at Solana Beach.
